The DEVI warranty
Up to 20 years on DEVI heating cables and mats, covering the product, the installation and the floor above it. Heat Zone handles the claim with Danfoss for you.
A faulty cable is the cheap part. Lifting the floor is not.
If a heating element fails under tiles, the real cost is the labour to find it, lift the floor and relay it. DEVI's Full-service warranty covers those costs as well as the product, for 20 years on ready-made heating cables and mats.
The warranty is provided by Danfoss, the manufacturer of DEVI, and runs from the date of purchase. The purchase must be no later than 2 years from the production date.

Conditions and exclusions
During the warranty period Danfoss will offer a new comparable DEVI product, or repair the product, if it is found to be faulty because of defective design, materials or workmanship. The decision to repair or replace is solely at the discretion of Danfoss. The warranty is valid only if the Warranty Certificate is completed correctly, the fault is reported to the installer or seller without undue delay, and proof of purchase is provided.
Except for the costs listed above, Danfoss is not liable for resulting, consequential or incidental losses, including damage to property or extra utility expenses. No extension of the warranty period is granted after repairs. The warranty does not cover damage caused by incorrect conditions of use, incorrect installation, or installation by non-authorised installers; work will be invoiced in full if Danfoss is required to inspect or repair faults arising from these. The DEVIwarranty does not extend to products that have not been paid for in full.

You are also entitled to have the goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure. The DEVI warranty is in addition to these rights.
