The project
Montague's apple distribution warehouse is held at a constant 1 °C. Steel columns and panels running through the cold zone were attracting condensation, and the site's automated handling systems depend on stable conditions.
We supplied DEVIflex 18T and DEVIbasic heating cable with cold tails for the steel columns, the panels above the ceiling and the cool rooms. The cable keeps those surfaces just warm enough to stop condensation and frost forming.
