Heating cable to stop condensation dripping into the offices, meeting rooms and canteen next to a cold store.
The project
At a Woolworths distribution centre, the temperature difference between the cold storage area and the adjoining offices was causing condensation, and water was dripping into meeting rooms, the canteen and offices.
We supplied DEVIsnow 30T and DEVIbasic heating cable to warm the affected surfaces, controlled by DEVIreg 330 thermostats, keeping them above the dew point so the condensation stopped.
